District Owned/Maintained Fencing

The District owns and maintains approximately 5,000 linear feet of 6 foot solid fencing and 37 concrete columns located throughout the Amber Creek neighborhood. (District fence lines marked in yellow on map below.) In addition, the District also maintains approximately 5,630 linear feet of 4-foot tall split rail fencing throughout the neighborhood (see map below). Maintenance of these fence lines represents a significant financial investment and expense to the District. Although the fence is not currently in need of replacement, the replacement cost of these fence lines is estimated to be approximately $510,000.

Homeowners whose lots border District fence lines are responsible for maintaining landscaping, pets and other conditions on their lots in a manner that does not damage or otherwise accelerate the wear and tear of the District's fences. The District will bill the respective homeowners for any costs incurred by the District to repair owner-caused damages to the District's fence lines.

The Board's current fence policy can be accessed and downloaded from the District's document library.
