City of Thornton Dog Leash Ordinances
The City of Thornton requires dogs to be on a leash at all times and in a manner where you have "effective and immediate control over them." Please contact City of Thornton's Animal Control Department (720-977-5250) directly regarding any questions or concerns about City animal control ordinances and related enforcement actions.

Pavilion Reservations
The City of Thornton allows residents to use the pavilion in the Amber Creek Park for events on a first come, first serve basis. No reservations are required at this time.
